Words of Eternal Life
As I seat to write this letter, knowing that the holy ghost will walk along with me, I hear on the television the news about Israel invading the Gaza strip, with the world calling for a seize fire. We have read many occasions in the Old Testament where Israel was at war with known and unknown enemies. Here I am in the comfort of my home at my computer, drinking a cup of home brewed coffee, with a pot of turkey, sausage, shrimp and okra gumbo cooking, writing a letter to the world about the word of God. It’s almost like being in a dream, but you know it’s not a dream but reality. My point of saying all of this is because the written word of God is true. Jesus told his disciples that they shall do greater works than he did. At one point Jesus had a lot more than 12 disciples but they turn back after Jesus spoke to them after he had done varies healing miracles. They were all following him until he said, what may have sound like a vampire talking. St. John wrote in the 6;55-56.. Jesus said that he was the bread of life, and that whosoever eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life, And I will raise him up at the last day...For my flesh is meat indeed and my blood is drink indeed...He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood; dewelleth in me, and I in him. These things said he in the synagogue. As he taught in Capernaum...Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, this is a hard saying: who can hear it ? St. John 6:59,60. The scripture says from that time on many of his disciples went back and walked not with him. Then said Jesus to the twelve, will ye also go away...Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the Words of Eternal Life.
What are the words of eternal life? Are they written in the bible? If so who wrote them? Who had the right to speak or write the words of eternal life? Keep reading and you shall find out. Words to eternal life are greater than the combination to the largest safe in the world. Its worth more than all the winning lottery tickets in the world put together. The words to eternal life are worth more than one zillion dollars. ($1,000,000,000,000,000). That’s more money you can spend on this earth. You must understand what you don’t spend is worthless to you at death. But for a poor man or wealth man that finds the words of eternal life, and cherish them to the point that he lives according to the rules, even at death he will be raised up to live with Christ eternally. Peter has already told us that Jesus had the words to eternal life. But what proof do we have? are should we receive this fact by faith. But faith without works is dead, so what works do we need with this fact of faith. ( Read my letter, Works Made Faith Perfect). Not only Peter believed that Christ had the words of eternal life but Nicodemus a Jew, a well known Pharisees came to Jesus by night, and said we know (we who? the other Pharisees) that thou are a teacher from God: for no man can do the miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Nicodemus and the other Pharisees knew that Jesus was sent form God, and that the words of eternal life said, you must be born again to enter into the kingdom of heaven. Nicodemus could not understand how could a man be born again after he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb and be born. His understand was earthly and very unfruitful. Jesus told him verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. But is there any greater proof that Peter, and Nicodemus was right, about Jesus Christ having the words of eternal life. Moses in Numbers 21:5-9 in the wilderness lifted up the serpent for a sinful, and disobedient people. The Israelites had sin and spoke against God, so God sent fiery (very violent), serpents among the people which bit them and many died. The people went to Moses to pray to the Lord for them and he did. The Lord told Moses to make a fiery serpent of brass and set it upon a pole, and all that looked upon the pole that had been bitten did live. Jesus used that example when he began to testify about himself which was not lawful to do.
The best proof that qualifies Jesus of having the words of eternal life was when he testified of his self. We will use two examples. In order to know about eternality one must have either been there, are God has allowed him to see or enter in and then come back to earth, would you agree? Jesus told Nicodemus we speak what we do know, and testify that we have seen: and ye receive not our witness. (do not believe what we say). If I have told you earthly things and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of Man which is in Heaven. And Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up. That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. St. John 3:11-15.
That example Jesus was talking to Nicodemus who was a master in Israel but cloud not accept nor understand how a man could be born again. This second example Jesus was speaking to a group of scribes and Pharisees that brought to him a women caught in adultery, which he did not condemn as they wanted but told her to go and sin no more. Then Jesus spake again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.( eternal life). The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true. Jesus also told them that his witness of his self was true because he knew where he came from and he knew where he was going, and that they cannot tell him where he was going nor where he came from nor themselves. Jesus told the scribes and Pharisees that their law that the testimony of two men is true, and that he was not alone, that the father that sent him was also with him. Jesus went on to testify that in John 8:18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and that the Father that sent me beareth witness of me. ( remember when John baptisted Jesus, and a voice from Heaven spoke, " this is my beloved son of whom I am well pleased of ")
Then they asked Jesus, where his father is? Jesus replied you nether knew neither me nor my father.
So, what do you think, are feel? Does Jesus have the words of eternal Life? What are some of them?
John 3:12, Jesus said, I am the Light of the world, and he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. 31. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free..
9:51 Verily, verily I say unto you if a man keep (obey my messages) my saying, he shall never see death.

10.7 Then Jesus said unto them again, verily, verily, I am the door of the sheep.
12:32 Jesus said, And If I be lifted up I shall draw all me unto me.
14:36 Jesus answered him (Peter), Whither I go , thou canst not follow me now, but thou shall follow me afterwards.
St. John 14 titled Jesus the way to the Father sums up this letter you should read St. John 14 chapter It starts off like this; Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, ye believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it was not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to my self; that where I am, there you may be also. And whither I go ye know (understand), and the way ye know,...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
