Defined; is to revert back to sin. This letter is a warning same as in your car when the fuel light or sign start blinking, you had better stop at the next station you see or you might just be walking. So read this letter carefully and do the check list, because you could be running on fumes and think you have a full tank. I am writing this letter from a fresh experience, in the life time of 2009 when same sex marriages are legal; we have a black president with a very broad religious base. 2009 when there is no pray in the school house no form of discipline, correction, hardly any chastisement in the home, nor in the school. Unemployment rate is as high as it every was, and still climbing. We have soup lines and bread lines with no retirement checks. Your mortgage is inflated and cannot be refinanced because the appraisers are now basing the value of your home on the house down the street that foreclosed. People are still dislocated because of Katrina. But as a Christian with a burning desire to reach heaven I pray that you take heed to this spiritual warning about backsliding. This letter is written purely from my insides as I rely on words from heaven to give this warning. We should understand backsliding can be just one thing like David sleeping with Bath-Sheba, she became with child, David had her husband Uriah killed because he would not fall for the trick and sleep with his wife. This is one good story of how one slip can affect your whole entire life. Listen what God told David through the prophet Nathan 11 Samuel 12: 8-12..God said to David, I delivered you from Saul… And I gave you the master house, and thy master wives unto thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would have given unto thee such and such things. Wherefore have thou despised the commandment of the Lord, to go do evil in his sight? Thou has killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and has taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children Ammon. Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house, because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife. Thus said the lord, behold I will rise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes and give them unto thy neighbor and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun…. We all know that God used David’s own son Absalom to rise up against him and slept with his wives in front of all Isreal. Also David and Bathsheba first child died after David had repented but God having mercy on Bathsheba allowed their second son, Solomon to live and become a great leader of his people. Then there could be a whole group of people backslide, like Israel did, time after time. But this letter is to you as a individual Christian. There are 10 warning signs that I will list and explain a bit then you take the test, pray, make the right adjustments, and move out. Get them wounded soldiers up because we are charging again.

Warning Signals 1 -10
1. No Church Home
What ever reason you are not a member of a Church in good standing, teaching, preaching, tithing, cutting the grass, driving the bus what ever task you can do, you are on the road to backslide. If you have your own small ministry you had better be discipline , very discipline because the enemy can get you much easier when he find you all allow. You should at least have a pray partner and they need to be strong. If you are in between Churches, this is the time to visit different Churches especially if you are a parent, those children need to be in Sunday school being taught the word of God. The Christian rule is not to forsake yourself to assemble, and if you leave that Church House to find another one. Jesus with all power taught in the Temple on Sunday or the Sabbath. If you do not have a church home or a ministry your score is 0 points, if you do have a church home and are paying tithes, and working in the church doing what ever is needed you past test one you get 10 points. Find you a church to go to Sunday. Every soldier needs a base to check into for instructions.
2. Remember The Sabbath and Keep it Holy… Exodus 20; 8
That is one of the Ten Commandments that Moses brought down written by the hand of God. How do you spend your Sabbath, your day of worship? If your answer is anything like Sunday school, church service, dinner then back home to relax, read, study or night service you are ok. If you have a small ministry are you spending 4 to 6 hour developing that ministry doing what ever the lord has given you to do? Know matter how high up you get you must continue to pray, and study the word of God. On this day we should be watching world prophecy take place, understanding the word of God even deeper, realizing more each day that Gods word is really true. We should be remembering the dead or those who have gone on before us who once walked and talk to us about God and life after death. I ask where exactly are they? Why can’t we hear from them, to know what to expect. The Sabbath is a holy day of rest. Our minds should be on holy things all day. The Sabbath day was an appointed time to meet with God. I don’t know if that time changed, but I do know that a lot of people have to work on Saturdays and Sundays, these people must set a day aside to keep holy. We must continue to feed the spirit no matter how much you already know least you begin to forget and begin to slide back into your carnal mind. 10 points if you are keeping it real 0 if you are not, no in between.
3. Bring ye all the Tithes in to the Storehouse,…Malachi 3:10
That there may be meat in my house said the lord of host. Why? so that he can open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that you will not have room to receive. I wonder if you believe that. Every since the Roman Empire ruled, the government has been taking your money through taxes. You pay 8.5% on all food, clothing, drinks, smokes, books daily items. Then sales taxes on car, boats, houses larger items plus if your borrow the money you pay interest on that money. That’s not all the taxes you pay, the Federal Government tax your wages before you even touch your check. He take out more than he should and then let you file a tax return to try and get some of your own money back. Also the government taxes your savings if it get to big. But the devil is smart he sale drugs, guns and sex even little children boys and girls, he don’t pay no 8.5% taxes, and don’t file income tax because the federal government don’t tax his wages because he don’t know where he work, or who he work for. It is so strange and unfair. But of the three system I just explained which one seems the best. The Romans way of taking your money to build streets, Satan’s way of selling you illegal items that can destroy you, or God’s way where he allows you to plant your money as a seed, by giving 10% , you get sometimes 100 fold return, on your money and be taught about eternal life. Just think, the Romans reward is for the flesh, Satan’s reward leads to a god feeling then death, and Gods reward is prosperity on earth and eternal life. You should be lined up on Sundays to pay your tithes at some ones church. If your have a small ministry keep up with the books same as any other church would do. I know many have lost their jobs but when Egypt was dark there was lights on in Goshen. Christian should have a form of income so to have seed to sow or tithe on Sunday. 10 points if you are paying 10% on Sunday, 0 if you are not , no in between..luke warm
4. And ye shall be Witness unto me both in Jerusalem, and in Judea, and in Samaria and unto the uttermost parts of the earth. Act 1:8
This was the last message that Jesus spoke to the disciples before he ascended to heaven the second time. When was the last time you witness to some one that was not a member of your church. When was the last time you had a argument with a Jehovah witness. The Jehovah Witness do not play, they believe what they are taught and nothing else matters. In Iraq those religious minded people believe and are ready and are dying believing in the God that they serve, both men and women as suicide self made bombs, can you image your faith being that strong. It would be hard for us to make a bomb not to mention strapping it on to death. That is a big difference in faith level. Carrying the good news of the Gospel of Christ is the responsibility of all Christian, as I am doing through this letter. Remember when you was on fire you wanted to tell everybody, but know you are so high up, you turn up your noise and keep walking. To bare witness is to bare fruit. If you are preaching or teaching you are baring witness, if you are talking to the brother and sister on the job in the streets, stores, beauty shop, front yard, backyard, in the alley, on television, in jail, then you are baring witness of Christ. 10 points for you , and 0 if not.
5. Adultery, Fornication and divorce
I will be brief on this one, you can take your 0 and move on. We all ready wrote about how David backslide and commit the act of adultery which lead to Uriah the Hittites death, he and Bathsheba’s first born death, and the David’s’ son Absalom. We all know about the woman caught in adultery which Jesus forgave, but said go and sin no more. These two examples are all we need because it is from one extreme to the other. David had many wives already, but Uriah only one which he had raised from a child. Not only did David get Uriah’s wife pregnant but also had him killed. The woman caught in adultery was trying to make a living, but which was the greater crime, that I don’t know but both David and the woman was forgiven. One by God the other by his Son Jesus. Bottom line Adultery, fornication, and divorce all can be for given but go and sin no more. St John 8:11 For he who is without sin among you cast the first stone. St John 8:7. If you have a study diet of Adultery, fornication, divorce you have made it a life style brother or sister you are backslidden and on your way to hell. If you are married sleeping with your wife or husband only, you get 10 points. If you are married sleeping with someone other than your mate give your self a big fat 0. If you are not married sleeping with anybody you get a 0. If you are sleeping with some one of the same sex -10, sleeping with an animal -10. If you have been divorced twice you should stop and think about backsliding and how the sword never left David’s house.
6. Daily Prayer Life
I learned from a great friend of mines who God use to birth me through taught me a great slogan; Little pray little power, much prayer much power, and no pray no power. When I was first converted it was with a prayer warrior an interceder. I begin to pray 30 minutes , then 1 hour , then 2 hours finally 6 hours a day, if I really needed something all day and night. Once I needed to sale my house so I could move. I stayed down two days until the phone rang. House sold and I moved. I felt so good in prayer I didn’t want to stop. But I had to work and feed my family. I was sad because basking in the present of God was like been high on drugs. If you are not praying at least one hour a day, that mistake along could cause you to backside. Prayer is that important to a Christian, remember how Jesus prayed early every day. If you have a solid pray life, as a soldier that is your means of checking into head quarters each day for instructions. If you only pray when you go to church give yourself a 0, but if you pray daily for at least an hour you get 10 points, no in between…luke warm
7. And 8. Weight: Excessive Eating and Drinking…Proverbs 23:20,21
I am already taking of my gloves, I hear you, what weight got to do with backsliding? I lot of backsliding is done right at your kitchen table and all you can eat buffet, along with little to no exercise. Over eating and drinking are in the same box. Proverbs 23:20,21 Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh: for the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty. Why do Christian fast? Varies reasons, but we do know that fasting is the direct opposite of gluttony. Man's body was originally designed to eat only fruit and vegetables, not meat. A Jehovah Witness told me that Adam and Eve were made perfect and that they did not have a navel. I said, could be, I never heard that one. It's hard to get over weight eat only fruit and vegetables. It’s hard to get drunk with one or two glasses of wine. A Christian looks bad and can cause a brother or sister to stumble by drinking in public, but it's just as bad see over eating being a glutton. Over eating leads to over weight, high blood pressure and bad health, over drinking leads to getting drunk and make bad decisions. If you drink until you pass out or fall a sleep whether at home or in public give your self a 0, if that scale says that you are 50 pounds over weight give your self a 0. Push a way from the table and go to the track or some where you can break a sweat.
9. Being a Good Samaritan and loving your Neighbor
We all know the story about the good Samaritan, and how the Priest and Levite passed by the wounded man that had been attacked robbed and left half dead by thieves. But some Christian think that they should be help out the ditch every month, be ware of those kind that need help every month. James said a pure Christian would visit the fatherless, and the widows in their affliction James 1:27. Jesus said when you visit the sick, a hungered, in prison, athirst, and naked it is the same as visiting him. When was your last visit to the nursing home, hospital, even your parents who are elderly, or a child in jail just see your face maybe a letter or even better some money. James said if any sick among you call for the elders of the church to pray for you. Being a good Christian is a 24/7 job. 10 points if you are on the job 0 if not.
10. Controlling Your Tongue
To be made in the image or similitude of God is a blessing and a curse. But how can that be? James a servant of the God and of the Lord Jesus Christ also Jesus blood brother wrote in his epistle of the New Testament; James 3;8-10 ..But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless us God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. Your tongue has the power to lead you to a blessing or a curse. Not only lead you but cause it to be. You have the power to speak out your life before it happens. God gave you creative power the same that he has. the power to call those things which be not as though they were. Those things can either be a blessing or a curse. Controlling your tongue with carefully chosen words can not be possible without spiritual knowledge and wisdom concerning the power that God has given you. This is the begin of my next letter entitle Thinking Spiritual While on Earth . If you can manage to use profanity for any reason there is no question you are backslidden. In Jesus there was no guile found in him. When demon and wick spirits are cast out of a person their language is profanity, cursing, blasphemy which is cursing God. Any Christian who allow their tongue to speak profanity or blasphemy for any reason either has a demon inside or has totally backslid. A lot more can be said about this subject maybe in another letter, we all need to pray to control our tongue. If profanity comes out of your month give your self a 0 if not you get 10 points.
