Getthem Up! Sagging Pants

Proverbs 24:9

1:00 p.m. Tuesday July 12 2011, I had to stop working because the urge to write about this problem with sin was to great and had over wham my entire system. This problem with sin could not wait, there was nothing in the world more important for me to do, so I began to write this letter to the spiritual leaders, parents and city officials, black leaders, rappers or to whomever would listen. This letter is about black youth who are walking around with their pants sagging between their butt and knee caps looking like Reggie the clown comedian on the Nutty Professor, thinking it‘s cool when they are looking like a sick mental patient who broke out, not knowing that it’s the devil’s folly that has them miss lead, and walking in sin. But I talked to my brother, he said it’s just a fad and that it would past, so I completed the rough copy and stopped, left it along because I did not what to be wrong. Today is June 24, 2012 almost a year later and my heart is burning more than ever because I have watched the streets knowing what the devil was doing to our young blacks, and sure enough it is getting worst pants have got larger and they are wearing them closer to the knee cap, walking gap legged to help keep the pants from falling off. What’s next? Where, will it stop? Do society have to wait until they (are should I say the devil) have them take their pants off and throw them across their shoulders? Where will it stop who is responsible to stop the devil’s folly? There are a few chooses first parents, then pastors, politicians, black leaders, and rapper’s. There are laws on the book but really the politicians and even the public officials hands are partial tied. The parent’s hands are tired even if they are still at home. That leaves the Preacher, Black Leaders, and Rappers. Before we can develop a cure we must first define, and diagnose the problem and it’s true source. This demonic style started in prison, were all the law breakers are, where you will find a strong satanic spirit. We all must realize this is a spiritual problem, and needs to be dealt with in the proper spiritual manner. Recently I talked to a old friend of mine (E.S.) who is about 8 years older, E.S. had 70 years to do in Texas State Prison and done 22 years and behind bars went to school and got a degree as a paralegal. E.S. was an eye witness of the origin of this style. This brother had a lot to share about this problem, he said in prison the pants were issued big or whatever they had and there were no belts, simply because they could be used to commit suicide or as weapons. E.S. is now saved and living his life to help others to not make the mistakes he made. So you had prisoners walking around in prison with large pants no belts. The devil took that mess and converted that foolishness into this sad style we have today in our streets not to mention the image it gives the youth. The style then spread exponentially, through rappers and videos, to the ghettos and suburbs then around the world.

Alright lets expose the true source of this sin the devil and enlighten all of our understanding so we can solve this problem. Years ago if a person was seen out in public with their pants half way down their thighs walking around they would have been stopped, arrested and taken to jail for indecent exposure. This type of behavior would have to be classified as foolishness. There is a word used in the scripture for foolishness and it is called folly. The City of Shreveport has a law against this foolishness with a fine but it’s not enforced but rather officer will park at the foot of a bridge or hill to give law abiding hard working taxpaying citizens a ticket for five miles over knowing full well that cars pick up speed downhill. Let’s expose the devil on the subject of foolishness, by going to the Holy Bible. The writer of the book of Proverbs who is Solomon the son of King David, whom was given more wisdom than any man that ever walked the earth except Jesus wrote in the 24^{th chapter and 9th verse of Proverbs that the thought of foolishness is sin, therefore the very act of foolishness has to be sin. We all know that the father of sin is Satan. Can you beginning to see the picture? Lets tie in some more scriptures. Solomon wrote in Proverbs chapters 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 six full chapters on the contrast between the wise and the foolish. I am not saying that the youth are foolish but what they are doing, sagging their pants is an act of foolishness and it origin is jail and Satan, futher it is a sin, to act or even think foolishness is a sin. So we can tell our children that sagging is not only foolishness but a sin as well. Proverbs 24:9 says that the very thought of foolishness is sin. Sin is defined as disobedience of God’s word, and Satan as you well know is the father of sin. Folly is defined as contemptuous disregard of Holy things. Do you know that your body is a temple, and it belongs to God? ,When, Adam and Eve sin in the garden, God clothed them properly at that time. Remember the micro mini skirt well that was sin, folly, and foolishness the females went through. As a male at that time without knowledge, I saw nothing wrong with a mini skirt, but now with knowledge I understand when the body is not properly cloth, whether fad or fashion, in public, intentionally is foolishness, folly, and a sin, male or female.}

^{Let’s come to a close on this matter and get started on our solution or cure to this sin. Folly or foolishness is not of God but of Satan and should not be accepted in our society in any way, although sagging pants is not the only folly in our society today but this letter is about getthem up, with first knowledge and understanding, then exposing the real source, Satan and curing the problem binding that satanic spirit with pray, that’s heading this sin. In Joshua 7:15, Joshua had a problem with folly and it caused him a lost in the first battle of Ai, and his solution was extremely harsh. After Joshua found out Achan had committed folly in the camp which caused him to lose the first battle of Ai. Joshua had Achan stoned to death then burned, yes Achan, his whole family, sons and daughters, plus all his sheep, oxen, asses and his tent, yes everything he owned all because of folly. Jesus spoke in Mathews 7:24-27 about a foolish man who hear the word but doeth it not was the same as a man that build his house on a foundation of sand. Our young men should not be walking around with their pants half off the butts looking like Reggie the clown comedian on the Nutty Professor thinking it’s cool and can hardly walk if something happen they could not even run for their life. Black women has it hard enough finding a mate, if they are not taken, they are locked up, on drugs, or selling them, uneducated, in the gang, and if they escape all of that, Satin have them follied with their pant sagging, thinking it cool.}

^{Ok the final solution, first is prayer, to bind that Demonic Spirit and back to jail and hell were it’s originated from. Now we all know what to pray for and against, the Preacher can see that the cure is through spiritual warfare first then the social solutions will work, after we educate our youth so that their eyes of understanding will be opened to see what the real problem and who created this problem of foolishness. The black leader cannot continue to be blind always thinking all black problems are racially spooned but rather recognizing the true enemy who is behind most of our problems here on earth because everything or all black problems are not racially spooned, therefore they need to get on their knees and pray and then attack the right enemy the right way, with the right weapons. Finally the Rapper, because you have a big responsibility, the devil use hip hop and Rappers to exponentially spread this mess, but God can use you to help get society out of this mess, the devil is a liar he cannot have this city nor our children we all need to go to work and get our young men on track. They need to know and understand the difference between fashion and folly where to draw the line. Teach our young men how important getting the very best education they can get, go to the best college, they can get into to help develop them into clean cut business men to make our daughters good husbands and raise a new generation to give God his glory.
