Thinking Spiritual While on Earth
To be made in the image or similitude of God is a blessing and a curse. But how can that be? James a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ also Jesus blood brother wrote in his epistle of the New Testament; James 3:8-10 .. 8.But no man can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 9.With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness.10.Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be.
Your tongue has the power to lead you to a blessing or a curse. Not only lead you but cause it to be. You have the power to speak out your life before it happens. God gave you creative power the same that he has, the power to call those things which be not as though they were. Those things can either be a blessing or a curse. Controlling your tongue with carefully chosen words can not be possible without spiritual knowledge and wisdom concerning the power that God has given you. This is the reason I am writing this letter to all that will hear. Proverbs 21:23 says whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue, keepeth is soul from trouble. You must think spiritual to properly control your tongue which controls your life's destiny.
Let us go a bit deeper because it may seem that this is too easy, but its' true. Earthly thinking, what I am writing seems and is impossible, that’s' why thinking spiritual is so necessary. The power that we have is simply because God made man in his image or similitude and God has all power. None of this is believable without faith even if you have seen the dead raised, or maybe you have seen an Angle or felt the power of God called the Holy Ghost. There are several people that have had encounters with the spiritual ream and written about it. All through the bible, things like this have happen, but the most famous and believable person it happen to is the great apostle Paul who Jesus converted after his crucifixion. Jesus also talked about his father's house which had many mansions. Many people even today have had death and back to life experiences, but can you believe them, what tangible proof do they have, any pictures, and any videos, did they not have their camera phones with them.
Lets' travel to one of Paul’s' epistles the one he wrote to the Romans from Corinth or Philippi on his third missionary journey. In Iconium Paul had been stoned to death and drew out of the city, but as the disciples stood around him he rose. Fourteen years later he gave an account of that and said he was called up to the third heaven, paradise, where God lives and heard things that was unspeakable to man.
Romans 8 written by Paul whom had been to Heaven and seen things unspeakable to man:
Romans 8:5-8 (King James Version)
5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Does that mean that you can worship God in the flesh yet not please him? Some religions and churches are flesh based not spiritually based, they can not please God. But what says the law of God, Paul said in Romans that the first original law was Roman 6:23…For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. But the new law of God is spiritual not carnal, Roman 7:14. Paul explain in
Romans 7:21-23… 21I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Paul is saying that as a human being with spiritual knowledge and wisdom or should I say Paul Thinking Spiritual, explains, there are two laws at war with him, 1 the old law of the flesh, the wages of sin is death which control of the members of his body parts against 2 the new law of God which is in his mind that’s spiritual.
Paul went on to say in Romans 7:25… So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Paul had already given us an example in Romans 7:2,3.. 2.For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
3So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
Be careful let’s not get twisted, Paul is simply saying that the old law was put to death by Jesus Christ. Meaning that they that walk not after the flesh but after the spirit are free from the old law of sin and death, because that death penalty was put to death by the death of Jesus. Earthly think one could very easily question how Jesus could die for us all. It was the same way Adam place us all under the law of sin. Paul explained in the 15 chapter in his first epistle to the Corinthians verses 20-22
15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.

15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Yes we shall all face death but death has no sting. In life for every level of success there is the same level of temptation. For every level of understanding there is a level of temptation. If you be come rich temptation will come from every angle and every form. What ever your weaknesses are that is where you will get hit the hardest. Paul concluded in Romans 8:25 that with his mind I myself would serve the law of God: but with the flesh the law of sin. I ask you this one question are you thinking spiritual minding the things of the spirit or are you carnally minded, minding the things of the flesh. Remember life is but a mist here today and gone tomorrow. How are you using the knowledge and power that God gave you. The talent God gave you, did you bury it or are you using it making room for more? Yes believe it or not we have been set free, same as the Negro slaves, but can you believe that some chose to stay on the plantation with there owners as free slaves but yet still slaves. The Jews were delivered out of Egypt, but some still held Egypt in their hearts and minds, so God never allowed them to reach the promise land. Lot, his wife and daughters were all delivered from Sodom and Gomorrah but Lot’s wife could not get Sodom and Gomorrah out of her heart and mind and disobey God and her husband, looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt. This is why it is very important for you to Think Spiritually While You are on Earth. I will end this letter written in the year 2009 with some choice words of Paul from Romans 8:1-8 and I promise the write a second part to this letter spelling out the difference between the things of the flesh and the spirit. Romans 8:1-8
1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
