Larry Tapped Out

                            It’s a Thin Line between Life and Death

  Today is Easter  Sunday 2014 I am writing again, still trying to deal with my brother’s (Larry F. Brown) departure, which was sudden and unexpected, which was followed within a week by my mother in law’s ( Florence Carter Scott) departure. There is a thin line between life and death, the older I get the more I understand and the thinner that line gets. My bible the King James Version gives several occasion when man was allowed to walk the line, or cross over it, a few bodily alive like Enoch. Genesis 5:21-24Enochwalked with God and was seen no more.

²¹ And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: ²² And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

²³ And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: ²⁴ And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

II Kings 2:11Elijahwent up by a whirlwind into heaven.

¹¹ And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

II Corinthians 2:2-4Paulwrites about himself being called up into 3^rdheaven after being stoned and left for dead in Iconium Acts 14:19.

² I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such a one caught up to the third heaven.

³ And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)

⁴ How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

Deuteronomy 34:5-6Mosesdied and was buried by God. His body not found, the Devil disputed with Micheal the archangel, over his body.

⁵ So Moses the servant of the Lorddied there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord.

⁶ And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulcher unto this day.

Jude 1:9.Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Isaiah 38:1-5Hezekiah while sick unto death prayed to God and God increased his life 15 years.

1. In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.

² Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the Lord,

³ And said, Remember now, O Lord, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

⁴ Then came the word of the Lordto Isaiah, saying,

⁵ Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.

Matthew 17:1-3Jesus transfigures seen talking to Moses and Elijah both dead (had crossed the line of life in this realm)

1. After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.

² There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light.

 ³ Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.

   Ok the biblical foundation has been set, it should be very clear to you that there is a thin line between life and death. Now back to earth, back to my brother Larry, why would a person with a good business want to leave this realm and go to a realm where his God and the angels are if given an opportunity?  There he would find all of his love ones, family, that preceded him in death (as we know it)?  I also wonder why some people desire to leave this realm but have to wait for years, or months until death comes, and other’s go almost instantly and unsuspected like Larry did? I really wonder why. I have a story to share with you about my brother’s departure, which I really think he had a choice to leave or stay in this realm. This is a true story combine with my thoughts and the Holy Scripture of God. I am writing this letter to shed light on the word of God which will help the reader to open its eyes and get a greater revelation of the power of God, and his strong yet fatherly love for us all from the greatest to the least we are all sons and daughters of God.

    On or about 2-10-2014 my birthday I drove myself to the WK walking clinic and they sent me to the emergency room which admitted me into the hospital for an outset of sugar. The reason I went was because I had dry mouth for 2 days and nights, running to the restroom, had drunk about 2 gallons of milk and 2 gallons of orange juice all within about 2 days no water, no beer thinking I was doing my body some good. After getting very weak and dizzy, almost blinking out twice, and even possibly having a small stroke, I took myself to the walk in clinic. I could not quench my thrust, or sleep, from running to the restroom, and my vision was getting bad.  After explaining these symptoms to the Doctor he knew exactly what my problem was. I was in for two days and nights and treated for dehydration and an outset of sugar. On the way out I was hit with two shots, one in my left shoulder a flu shot and the other in my right a pneumonia shot. Needless to say I was injected with a little flu and pneumonia at the same time I was cold to the bone for two weeks wearing a coat while the sun was out. Keep in mind I took myself to the hospital, had only one visitor a friend D.D. who found me, a business visit from Doc the roofer, and my grandson, Shun all state super star from Calvary Baptist, who I had to bring me my check book and my lap top, no one knew I was there until I got out and told them. My point of telling this is that Larry was very upset with me because I did not notify family especially him my older brother. But my response was that, “The Lord is my Shepherd”, and if he was ready for me I was read too see him. But Larry keep on, “don’t ever do that again,”for it was the 2^ndtime with in 3 years I had done this,  he expressed the fact that anything could happen and if no one else to let him know, because after all he was my big brother and felt responsible.  But Again I said to him very boldly this time, “The Lord is my Shepherd”,and I went on to say,” as Job said thou you slay me yet will I truss in the,” and we left it along for then. I went on and said,” If it was my time to leave this realm, tap out ( leave with eyes open) that I was ready, for I am tired of seeing young black men with their pants hanging off their butts, when a law is written against it but not enforced, that’s pretty sorry. School systems that will not pay our teachers who are on the front line but instead give them the DROP. After waiting for a life time for God to send us a Black President, he without knowledge and understanding the biblical history of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, which must not have been taught at Harvard, has help open the gay rights door wide open for the whole world to be deceived, men with men, women with women, sure it is your constitutional right, but biblically and eternally speaking is a transgression of the law of God and is called sin, by God who created this world. We, the State of Louisiana, who’s Governor has no respect for the President of the United States of America nor the Democratic Party is allowing this disrespect of his to cause this state to suffer by losing federal dollars from a lot of different directions hurting especially Black Colleges, and our schools both public and private. Our black president did cash the check King talked about as being stamp insufficient but spent it unwisely on trying to bail out the biggest crooks in the nation, the bankers who has not had a true leader since the fall of the Trade Center Towers were most of all the great financial brains were lost thanks to Ben Laden (this problem should be addressed). So from the schools without pray, parents allowing children to raise themselves, a city that will not enforce its laws, to a Governor who has no respect for this nations Black Democratic president, and the president that has no respect for the law of God we are doom as a nation, if we don’t humble ourselves and pray to change the direction we are going.

      Back to Larry I really believe my faith in Christ as the Lord being my Shepherd struck home with him and I say that because after he lectured me about taking myself to the hospital without letting anyone know, could you believe he done the same thing only two weeks later he drove himself to the same hospital with congested heart failure, admitted himself and never walked out, Why? What was he thinking? I know in my heart what he was thinking, the Lord was his Shepherd, and what Job had said,” though you slay me yet will I trust in the.” I am 90% sure as to what he was thinking, I asked him twice while visiting was he trying to tap out (leave with eyes open), he did not answer me, I think he had a chose to leave or stay same as Enoch, and Elijah, he was not a great prophet like they were but he was a sheep and God is no respecter of person what he do for one he will do for another, and that’s scripture. I ask you where is Moses body, why did God himself bury Moses, why did Satan fight with Micheal the archangel over his Moses body? Hezekiah was not ready to leave this realm, how could God give him 15 more years since all our days are pre numbered? In the book of James, James wrote that life is but a mist here today and gone tomorrow, was Paul dead, after been stoned, when they drugged him out of the city, Iconium and left him for dead, why did Paul witness about this 15 years later and say whether in the body or out of the body God only knows, but such a one (talking about himself) was called up to third heaven and heard things that was not lawful to speak to man, why didn’t God let him stay for Paul desired to stay, but God revived him, and sent him back though the same city where he was stoned preaching the Gospel. Paul wrote ¾ of the New Testament that we read and teach to this day maybe he had work for him to do. One other question what was Jesus, after he was transfigured in the present of three of his disciples, talking about when he meet with Moses and Elijah neither living in this earth realm one taken up in a fire chariot, the other buried by God body never found . There is a thin line between life and death, the transfiguration proves that, there you had one men that had not seen death, one who’s body was taken by God, and then Jesus who can step in and out of this realm, can step in and out of time, can step in and out of the grave, can step off the throne of God and in one hour save this world and sit back on the right hand of God, on his throne, can leave eternity be born of a virgin in time be crucified and then ascend back in to eternity. I strongly believe Larry went into the hospital with total faith and knowledge that the Lord was his Shepherd,the same shepherd that allowed Peter to walk on water, in closing I will leave you with this I believe Larry tapped out (left here with his eyes wide open)  in fact his eyes had been closed for at least one week, but my sister Beverly who told the family she was going to stay with him until he left said he opened his eyes when he took his last earthly breath, so get ready, and stay ready to go, because, scripture says behold I come quick, remember it is a thin line between life and death, and our Shepherd Jesus has total control of that line. He can move death line up or down or simple remove it completely, he has all power, even over death..You see the wages of sin was death, but Jesus took that power from Satan by allowing him to make the mistake of crucify him an innocent man who was without sin ( WHICH VIOLATED THE LAW OF DEATH).  My brothers you can put your faith in man but man will fail you or you can put your faith in Christ. We have a great savior, thank God for his son Jesus who not only is our shepherd, but our Great High Priest, Interceder, Attorney  at Law whose throne is on the right hand of God eternal throne .
